Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, we headed over to my parents house to enjoy Christmas once again.   This time we were joined by all of the family.  My parents, my brothers (single and married), sisters-in-law, and neices.  It started off kind of slow and somewhatly organized, but with 6 kids in the house begging for presents, it quickly turned a bit crazy.

We all survived tho, and everyone (kids and adults) were very happy with what they were given.

I decided to go the home made route this year, and had a great time making Christmas presents.

My brother, Isaac, with the painting I made for him.  He works in the YF department of VGR, so this painting was perfect for him.

I made an apron and pot holders for my sis-in-law, Molly. I forgot to take a picture of the pot holders, but here’s one of the apron I made.

I made cookies and candy for my brothers, Amos and Samuel.

Those were it for my homemade gifts.  The rest I bought.

Molly made fancy headbands for all the girls.  She did an awesome job.

My dad got a new computer for Christmas.

Mom got a new coffee pot. She can use it to make tea, coffee and hot cocoa.

Toy Story Potato Heads.  This was a present from Gramma for all of my kids.

Ella absolutly loves baby dolls.  She did a happy dance when she opened this present from Gramma.

Glorianna got a new baby, from Gramma, too.  She loves it.

Both boys recieved legos.  This was a big hit.  They love legos.

Uncle David and Aunt Molly got Azariah “Sea Monkeys”.  He thought this was pretty cool.  We haven’t “grew them” yet, but will probably do so, tomorrow.

Zion recieved a Wood Burning kit.  It’s a bit “old” for him right now, but with Trevor’s help, he can use it a little.

Uncle David and Aunt Molly got Zion a “Rocket Car” kit.  He is just dying to try this out.  But since it absolutly has to be done outside, he has to wait for it to warm up a bit before he can use it.

I bought my dad a book.  “Hilarious Hunting Cartoons.”   He had a nice chuckle when he opened this.

There were lots more pictures, but I’ll spare you.  Oh yes…I should mention that both of the boys recieved their very own harmonica.  Yipee.  Now if only they’d hide them from their sister, who thinks she is a great harmonica player.

We had about the same amount of food, for Christmas, as we had for Thanksgiving.  So once again we are eating left overs for a few days.  But it was all very good.  Even left over.

Trevor has the next week off of work, so hopefully we can get in some good family time.  So far, Christmas Vacation has been awesome!
