To start off the Christmas Weekend, Trevor and I decided to go and spend our Christmas money from the Emond’s. What a crazy day. The stores were jam packed and there were people everywhere!!   (now I know why I do all my shopping online) But we survived the madness at the local stores and picked up our presents. So thank you Emonds for the wonderful gifts. (Details as follows)
The boys picked out a wii game that they want, but by the time we went to several different stores to find the cheapest price on the game, we decided to just wait until after Christmas to actually buy it.Â
We got Glorianna a bike for Christmas, so with her share of the money, we got her a basket and horn for her bike. She is going to be sooo excited! She also picked out a wii game that she wanted, so we got her that as well. This is the first wii game that she has acutally been able to play, so she had quite the good time, playing it.
Trevor and I used our share, of the money, to get a new blegium waffle maker that I have been eyeing. I can’t wait until tomorrow morning, so I can try it out!Â
After surviving the crazyness of the stores, we stopped off at Chedders for a very tasty, but late, lunch. This was a special treat for the kids and they all ate very well.Â
Later this evening, I went to an Ornament Party at my cousin’s house. I have never been to and Ornament Party and it was an absolute blast. We all brought a wrapped Ornament, drew numbers, read a funny story, and then did a lot of swapping and stealing until we all ended up with an ornament. This is the one I brought home. I have snowflakes and snowmen on our tree, so it will match very well.
It was a very fun filled day. I ate way to much food, at the party, but there was so much yummy stuff to choose from it was hard to decide what not to eat. I laughed a lot …a lot….a whole lot…so I probably burned off all the food I ate.Â
And that’s the start of our Christmas vacation. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures.
