4th of July

4th of July weekend went a bit differently than I originally hoped. Trevor had a 4 day weekend so I thought this would be a great weekend for some family time. But at the last minute, Trevor found out that the Indy Youth Camp (Believers Youth Camp) needed some brothers to help chaperon. He got in touch with one of the head brothers and they told him they’d love to have his help. So Trevor and Zion decided to go for the extended weekend. So that left just me, Azariah and Glorianna to spend the weekend together.

On Monday, July 3rd, I decided to take the kids to the Newport Aquarium. I called my mom to see if she wanted to come along. She did, and she brought Amos and Samuel with her. That was fun and it was better than going alone.

On July 4th, we headed to Jeff to see the yearly parade that they do.

I love this!! Its so cute.

Trevor and Zion got back home Tuesday evening and we were thinking about going and seeing the fireworks, but everyone was tired so we decided not to. We just watched the neighbors let off theirs instead. It ended up being a fun weekend anyway, even tho it was a bit different than expected. I hope you all enjoyed yours as well.
